Danny L. Jefferson-owner - E-Mail Danny is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science where he earned a Scholastic Achievement Award. He also was on the dean's list through all semesters. Danny came to Kernersville with 34 years funeral experience. He is a National licensed funeral director/embalmer and also a licensed life insurance agent. Danny is a member of First Christian Church. Danny serves on numerous boards in Kernersville including member of CrimeStoppers of Forsyth County, the Korners Folly Foundation, The Shepherd's Center, Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, and the Kernersville Downtown Preservation and Development Council. He is also a member of the Kernersville Lions Club and is a past District Governor for Lions District 31-D. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and has also served on numerous state committees as well. Danny served on the board for Hospice, the Music Academy of North Carolina, and CrimeStoppers. He has chaired numerous fund raising committees and has helped raise over $1,000,000 for various charities around the Triad. Danny is a 2005 Graduate of Leadership Kernersville and is also an after dinner and motivational speaker. Danny is married to the former Rosette Ambrose. They have four children Jonathan, Nikki, Joshua, and Jordan.
Roger Stockton Roger is a life long resident of Kernersville. He is retired from broadcasting after 30 years. Rogers wife is Brenda and they have two daughters, Sharon and Robin. They have two lovely grandchildren Morgan and Andrew. Roger is a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church in Walkertown, a member of Kernersville Lions Club, a Mason, and a Shriner.
Garry Snow Garry is also a life long resident of Kernersville. He is married to Shirley Snow and they both are members of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church. He is the former owner of Corder's Men's Clothing Store in downtown Kernersville. Garry and Shirley have two children Rev. Patrick Snow (wife is Tara) and Dr. Eric Snow (wife is Stacey).
Jack Barrier Jack is married to Barbara and is a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Jack had formerly worked for many years with Duke Power Company. Jack enjoys golf and playing the tympani in the church choir.
Kathy Kunkle Kathy is a member of First Christian Church where her husband, Dr. Pete Kunkle, is the pastor. Kathy is a graduate of Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. Her daughter's name is Heidi. Kathy has numerous credit hours in counseling with families and individuals.
Jimmie Pegram Jimmy is a long-time resident of Kernersville. His wife is Brenda and they attend Kernersville Wesleyan Church.
Chris Caldwell Chris is a member of First Christian Church. He is married to Jennifer and has three sons. Chris is also a life insurance agent.
Irma Comer Irma has lived in Kernersville most of her life. She is married to John Comer, a CVS Store Manager. They have three adult daughters and two grandchildren. Irma and John are members of Main Street United Methodist Church. Irma is a full time employee, for over 33 years, at Wachovia Bank as a Relationship Manager.
Shaun Smitherman Apprentice Funeral Service Licensee, graduate of North Davidson High School Class of 1999, and member of Kernersville Kiwanis Club.
Bob Miller Bob and his wife Michal reside in Kernersville and have three children; Cindi Staton, daughter Lindzie Grace, Ross Friesinger, wife Dana, and son Logan, Christi Spangle, husband Allen, daughter Madison, and son Adam. Bob and Michal are members of Deep River Friends Meeting in High Point. Bob enjoys singing Southern Gospel music with the group "Destiny" and playing golf.
Vernon McDaniel Licensed funeral director, retired Baptist minister having served several churches in the Triad, and current pastor of Glenwood Presbyterian Church in Greensboro.
Jonathan Lee Jefferson Son of Danny Jefferson, Jonathan is currently enrolled in Fayetteville Technical Community College’s Funeral Service curriculum. He will continue his studies and began his apprenticeship in Funeral Service in November of 2009. Jonathan has been in the Funeral Service industry for nine years and brings a tremendous amount of energy and knowledge of Monuments and Cemetery information.
Paul Davis Cooke Paul will be enrolling in the Fayetteville Technical Community College Funeral Service curriculum in January of 2010. Paul is a recent graduate of Northwest Guilford High School and is the grandson of Roger Swisher, former Kernersville Mayor. Paul is a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
