Lori Broadstreet White

March 23, 1974 ~ February 11, 2018 (age 43)

 Lori Broadstreet White, loving mother, daughter, sister, fiancé and granddaughter left this world unexpectedly February 11, 2018.

 Funeral services celebrating her life will be 3:00pm Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel.

Lori leaves behind her family and friends that will miss her unconditional love, selflessness, smile, laugh and care-giving talents.

Lori was born March 23, 1974 at Forsyth Memorial and resided in Stokesdale most of her adult life.  She attended East Forsyth High School, Class of 1992.  She played softball at Swaim complex and then went into nursing as a private duty CNA and gave great care to many clients.  She was fiercely compassionate and devoted to her sons and family.

Lori is preceded in death by her father Mickey Allen Broadstreet and great grandparents William and Lillian Montgomery, and Fuqua and Belle Broadstreet, and cousins Brandon Gray and Bridgette Broadstreet.

Lori leaves behind her fiancé Chad Edwards; sons,  Robah Baskin Flynt IV,  Justin Dale Flynt and Devin Allen Flynt; daughter,  Brooklyn Six;  mother Kay Mattocks; brother,  Brian Broadstreet;  sister Melissa Broadstreet;  grandparents,  Nancy McCollem and Gail Shears;  aunts, Teresa Hester, Kim Grimes, April Shears; uncles,  Alan Grimes, Mike Grimes, Jeff Broadstreet, Ricky Grimes, Ricky Broadstreet, Barry Broadstreet, Donnie Broadstreet, Mitch Shears and Todd Shears and lots of cousins and friends that loved and adored her.

There are no words to express the wonderful caregiving person she became.  She loved to watch her boys play ball and was considered a “Ball mom.”  She will be deeply missed and leaves her family and friends to try to become the person she was.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30pm prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
